Joana Vasconcelos at the Ajuda Palace

Exhibition of the famous Portuguese artist

Till the 25th August you can visit an exhibition of The Portuguese contemporary artist. This is the first retrospective of the work of Joana Vasconcelos, an artist who recently exhibited with great success at the palace of Versailles. The exhibition at the Ajuda National Palace includes about 40 exhibits creatived over the last decade. The work of Joana Vasconcelos, by surprising based on materials ranging from everyday tableware, lace, textiles, etc. which arise lining or made into unexpected objects. For example as the iconic exhibits like The Bride, Red Independent Heart, Marilyn, or Garden of Eden will be available for visitors.
